A lot of our work comes from what we know best, nature. Being a wood carver in Minnesota leaves few alternatives. We enjoy carving decoys and wildlife giving us the opportunity to closely study the animals, fish and birds we see so much. Most of our work starts with a chainsaw for a rough cut. Then moving into detail carving and hand sanding. Each piece is salvaged wood from fallen trees. Aspen, pine, oak, poplar and diamond willow give us wide range of challenges. We comb our lands to clean up the forest floor and bring you natures rubble to your glass case. Benches, chairs and stools are often a common release from a wildlife overload. If you visit Minnesota you might find us there, resting on our rustic furniture overlooking the setting sun and whittling away the next project.
